Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TubeForge ("TubeForge", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TubeForge Chrome / Edge extension and web dashboard (together, the "Service").
What we do NOT collect
- We never collect, store, or transmit your YouTube, Google, or TikTok password or login credentials. The extension operates inside the platform sessions you are already logged into.
- We do not browse, scrape, or send messages on your behalf without explicit confirmation from you in the extension UI.
What we collect
- Account information. Email address and an extension API token, used to associate your devices with your TubeForge account.
- Channel and video metadata. Public information about your channels and videos that you choose to track (titles, view counts, retention curves, CTR) so the dashboard can chart performance over time.
- Generated AI assets. Title candidates, thumbnail A/B test results, and idea prompts that we produce for you, stored so you can revisit them in the dashboard.
- Usage counters. Per-action counters (how many titles you generated this month, etc.) so we can enforce your plan quota.
AI providers
When you trigger an AI action, the relevant inputs (e.g. a video title, transcript snippet, or niche) are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic Claude by default; OpenAI GPT as a fallback) to generate the requested output. You can supply your own provider API key in Settings, in which case the request is billed to your provider account and bypasses our plan quota.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with subprocessors required to run the Service: Supabase (database + auth), Cloudflare (hosting), Square (billing), and the AI provider you have chosen.
